Each summer, Chicago's Southeast Side pulses with House music. 3 Yards Bangin' House Fest transforms neighborhood blocks into sacred ground for devotees of this genre beloved to the city. Dancers, DJs, and lovers of House gather together in this Calumet Heights neighborhood. I tried my best to capture the collective joy I was witnessing. Walking among the revelers, I captured their stories—intimate testimonials of why they make this annual pilgrimage to 3YB, returning year after year, preserving and celebrating this authentic Chicago culture.
