AAPI Against Gun Violence Convening

This AAPI Against Gun Violence convening was both eye-opening and deeply personal to me as a South Asian woman. The way gun violence weaves into the lives and mental health of Asian Americans remains largely underrepresented in broader discussions. Asian Americans face unique vulnerabilities - from Islamophobic violence and anti-Asian hate crimes to police harassment - yet our experiences are often overlooked in conversations about gun violence. This gathering highlighted these critical intersections that deserve far more attention.
