My Shooting Process

Before the Wedding Event

I arrive early to capture the atmosphere and details that set the stage for your day. While documenting the getting-ready process, I work unobtrusively, allowing natural moments to unfold. Rather than rigidly posing every shot, I offer gentle direction that brings out authentic expressions and interactions.

My stills are often "moving". I do not expect you to be as still and static as a statue.

For couple and group portraits, I find the perfect balance between direction and spontaneity. I'll guide you into natural positions and then give you space to interact genuinely. My approach is conversational and relaxed, creating an environment where you feel comfortable being yourselves.

Reception and Celebrations

As the celebration continues, I blend into the background while remaining alert to meaningful interactions. I anticipate moments before they happen, positioning myself to capture the joyful chaos of the dance floor, the heartfelt speeches, and the quiet moments you share with loved ones.

Thoughtful Selection

After your wedding, I carefully review every image, selecting those that best tell your story. I look beyond technical perfection to find the frames that carry emotional weight and narrative significance.

Artistic Editing

Each selected image receives individualized attention in my editing process. I enhance the natural qualities of the photo while maintaining consistency across your collection. My editing style emphasizes:

• Colors that feel lived-in rather than digital, creating cinematic nostalgia in your photos
• As opposed to "light and airy", I find beauty in the dance between shadow and light. I embrace the shadows with a delicate balance.

Personalized Delivery

Your final collection is delivered in a custom online gallery where you can easily view, download, and share your images. I also provide guidance on printing options and album design to ensure your photographs are preserved in tangible form, not just digital files.

Ongoing Relationship

My commitment to your images doesn't end with delivery. I remain available to answer questions about your photographs and assist with any future printing or album needs you might have.
